BROKER EXAM, GROUP AND PRIVATE TUTORING (THERAPY)

IS THE BROKER'S TEST MORE DIFFICULT THAN THE SALESPERSON'S TEST?
This is one of the most, if not the most, common questions that we hear. The answer to this question is, unequivocally, categorically, yes. The broker's test is more difficult than the salesperson's test. Why is this ? There are several reasons. Firstly, the broker test is not one test, but is in fact, a set of tests. You take one test in the morning, you take a second test in the afternoon. You have a total of 200 questions for the day. The salesperson's test only has 150 questions for the day. Therefore the first reason that the broker's test is more difficult is, you have more questions. The second reason is, one of the two tests is comparable to the salesperson's test, and the other contains questions and answers that are much more difficult. The third reason is that with the saesperson's test you have a total of 150 questions and you are allowed to miss 45 questions. With the broker's test there is a total of 200 questions and you are only allowed to miss 50 questions. “Broker Exam Content”. The fourth reason is that the Department of Real Estate has over 3000 questions to pull from. And they are constantly writing new questions. Knowing all of this, is it possible to pass the broker's test the first time or the next time you take it ? Wouldn't you agree that you would have a great advantage if you knew which test the DRE will be using when you take your state test ? J Marshsll Schoonover, has years of experience(over 24 years as of 2010)of analyzing the DRE publications. He knows how they think, and has most of their habits down to a science. He is normally able to narrow the question selection down, based upon when and where you are taking your broker's test. This is a great advantage!

WHY DOES BROKER GROUP EXAM TUTORING (THERAPY) WORK ?
One of the paramount reasons as to why group tutoring works is that most crash or review courses cover a liile bit of a lot of subjects, we cover a lot of a little bit of subjects that pertain to the test that you will be taking. To use a metaphor, have you ever watched an old World Wor II movie ? When the military would fire off their anti-aircraft guns thay seldom hit their targit. The United States has what they call cruise missiles that can zero in on a target from an amazing disance away with deadly accuracy. Our tutoring is like a cruise missile, most crash couse are like the old anti-aircraft guns. (you get what you pay for.) A second reason, as to why group tutoring works is that we use key word matching. We are convinced that you do not need to understand the material in order to pass the test. Paradoxically, you can know to much. We have found that the more you know about a given subject in the real world the more difficulty you will have with questions that pertain to that subject on the state test. The solution is word connection. For every question we show you we use keywords to help you identify the question and then select the correct answer. For example, if you see the word alcohol in a question you will find the word defeasible in the answer. If the question talks about a husband and wife, the answer will have the words community property in it. A third reason that Marshall's tutoring works so well is that J Marshall Schoonover is a master communicater and he enjoys what he is doing.

HOW MUCH TUTORING WILL I REQUIRE TO PASS THE BROKER'S TEST ?
As respects the broker's test we recommend a modicum of two Two weekends ( Most testees take one weekend). We have designed a powerful weekend. It would take the real estate schools four days to cover as much material as we do in one weekend. How do we do this? We cut to the chase. By zeroing right in on what you need to know in order to pass the broker's test that you are taking that day. The weekend is filled with keyword reiforcement. The weekend works extremely well with some testees. One thing is for certain, you will be presented with more material, during the weekend, than you need to know in order to pass the broker's test. If you have studied, or if you are skilled at taking test, the weekend should work very well for you. What do you mean by studying, you ask ? This is an important question. The best way to study for the broker's test is to read a quetion (do not mark the answer beforehand) read the four ostensible answers, immediately checking to see if you're correct or incorrect. If you're correct, expediently moving on to the next question. If you are incorrect, immediately checking to see why you were incorrect, reading the explanation. Sometimes you will understand the explanation and sometimes you will not. In either case, do not spend precious time looking up words, move on to the next question. Marshall law says" It is better to cover a few questions poorly as opposed to mastering only a few." We recommend a minimum of 900 questions. (If you need a source for question we have a great 900 broker CD as well as a 900 question question book that we would like to recommend. To learn more, simply send us an e-mail.) By the way, we said 900 question minimum not maximum. This is easier said than done. You may not believe this, the material is extemely boring and time-consuming. So, be prepared for some pain. Remember, no pain no gain. And if you simply wont to play it safe, we recommend an additional three to 12 hours of broker private tutoring.

How much does the weekend (or weekends), & personal one-on-one private (or semiprivate) tutoring cost?

Are you asking how much will it cost you if J Marshall does tutor you, or are you asking how much will it cost you if he does not? First of all, most of my clients take one complete weekend! If you take both Saturday and Sunday (one complete weekend) it will cost you $415, (with a $15 discount if you use cash) which takes it to $400 for one complete weekend. Private tutoring is $105 per hour ($100 cash). Semiprivate tutoring is $80 ($75 cash). per hour, per person. One half hour is $55. However, if you take Broker/Salesperson Saturday only, or Sunday only, it will cost you $310 per day, with a $10 discount if you use cash, which takes it to $300 for one day. It is recommended that you take take no less than one weekend ( Saturday and Sunday). In fact, we strongly recommend that you consider taking two weekends with J. Marshall if you're time schedule and budget allow for it. Two weekends will cost you $585, with a $20 discount if you use cash, which takes it to $565, for two weekends. Or if your schedule and budget allow for it, consider taking one complete weekend and some private or a semiprivate tutoring in addition to the one weekend (it is best to do the private or semiprivate tutoring in-between the weekend and your state exam). You can wait and see how you do on the weekend before you commit to private or semiprivate tutoring if you wish. If you are comparing our prices to other schools please be aware that not all weekend real estate exam cram course/review programs are equal. Just like not all cars are equal! For example, a Maserati will cost you more than a Chevrolet. Can you picture yourself in a Maserati, I can! Please talk to students that have taken my program before you make your decision. I get students that have taken weekend programs somewhere else and learned that my program is the best the hard way. Remember, J Marshall law says "You usually get what you pay for!". We accept all major credit cards for the Broker/Sleesperson weekend Boot Camp).
